Such an excellent point in the top link about there being no male equivalent word for ‘Tomboy’.
And that if boys/men ever act less masculine they face immediate punishment. That piece really nails the issue (along with ‘No, little Joey, men and women are 50/50 of the population not 80/20 like you see on every tv show’.)
